So I had a play with doing a little texture work for a contest over on Sketchfab.com.
It was nice to stretch the legs and do some fun car stuff with their contest asset. They provided the base model (but, with the years of NFS under my belt, I had to have a play with it, and make it my own), and it was up to the individual to texture it.
I cleaned up the model quite a bit. Squared a lot of issues (the bumper lines weren’t straight in some areas, etc.) Added windshield wipers, a tow hook, and fixed some minor other blemishes.
I think it came out pretty well, given the low poly count.
